I am the owner and founder of The Lindsay Askins Collective - a luxury branding photography collective of photographers, hair stylists, make up artists, wardrobe stylists, studio owners, and branding agencies.
We elevate ambitious women entrepreneurs with custom branding imagery. Our unique process includes professional hair and make up stylists, wardrobe stylists, and top notch branding agencies in thoughtfully curated Manhattan studios.
What is a First Impression Session?

QUARTERLY
First Impression Sessions are offered in NYC four times a year. These mini shoots are designed with the busy businesswoman in mind. No need to over-think these shoots - choose an outfit or two, go to bed early, and wake up ready to smile! We will handle the rest.

HAIR & MAKE UP
First Impression Sessions are a much faster version of our VIP all-inclusive shoot however, we keep our same casually luxurious vibe on mini shoot days. Show up an hour before your shoot in comfy clothes and bed head hair and our team will make you look and feel like a million bucks.

FOOD & DRINK
Snacks and sips are provided at our First Impression Sessions to ensure our clients are hydrated and nourished. Coffee, tea, water, and light food options are a studio staple. And sometimes, depending on our studio venue, celebratory cocktails are included aprés-shoot!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Total time investment for First Impression Sessions is about 2 hours on-location with our shoot time running about 30-45 minutes. Galleries are delivered within 2 weeks of your shoot containing 10-20 images to elevate your brand and business on your website or social media accounts.
Who are First Impression Sessions for?
Mini branding shoots are perfect for creatives, artists, business owners, coaches, entertainers, and other entrepreneurs in need of fresh brand imagery, or new business owners building a website and social media presence.
Most entrepreneurs are using personal brand imagery on websites and social media accounts to build credibility and trust with their audience and potential clients. Search engines and social media accounts need updated, fresh images on a consistent basis to keep you in top searches and algorithm ratings.
In about two hours, we will get you camera-ready and we will create 10-20 images on-brand for your website or social media posts. This is typically 3-6 months’ worth of social media imagery depending on how often you post.

We believe that looking and feeling your best is the secret to authentic branding images. Your session fee includes professional hair and makeup stylists on location to ensure you exude confidence in every shot. We provide assistance in your wardrobe styling before and during your session as well as a professional posing method to bring out your best features and characteristics.
Nourishing foods and beverages are provided at all of our branding sessions. Treat yourself to a selection of delicious snacks and sips that will keep you fueled during your session. This is not your average branding mini sessions - this is an entire client experience leaving you relaxed and rejuvenated when you leave us!
